Dr. John David and Sarah Kirby

Dr. John David Kirby, B.A., M.A., Th.D., is the founder and president of John David Kirby Ministries, Inc.

He was the founder and senior pastor of Free Spirit Revival Center, which he and his wife, Sarah Kirby, B.A., M.A., founded in 1987.

In the following year, 1988, they founded Free Spirit Education Center, a private Christian school. Dr. Kirby speaks nationally and internationally boldly proclaiming the uncompromised Word of God. Souls are saved, lives are dramatically changed, and healing, miracles and deliverance are manifested as the Word of God is declared.

He moves prophetically in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, bringing healing and deliverance to the whole man. He has ministered in conferences, crusades, tent revivals, street outreaches, home meetings, and churches nationally and internationally. Dr. Kirby has also ministered numerous times on radio and television.

We’ve had testimonies about healings about everything from migraine headaches to a nurse who was suffering severely from Lyme disease and in a wheelchair, get up and walk out of the meeting, to God be the glory! There have also been accurate prophetic words given over people as well. A former rock musician, Dr. Kirby’s “Damascus Road” conversion and miraculous deliverance was used of God to create in him a great desire to see people set free. His educational background includes a B.A. in biblical studies, an M.A. in Christian psychology, and a doctorate degree in theology. 

From their home base on Pine Island in South West Florida, the Kirbys are commissioned to “go and make disciples of all nations” and to bring deliverance to the captives in Jesus’ name!

Dr. Kirby comments on his life and ministry:

I received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and was born again in 1985. I have a doctorate degree in theology. My wife Sarah and I founded, and were the senior pastors of, the Free Spirit Revival Center in South West Florida for over 16 years. We also founded the Free Spirit Education Center Christian school and oversaw it for 15 years. We minister nationally and internationally, including the Caribbean, Europe, South America, and Russia.

I have an International Apostolic/Prophetic ~ Miracle Healing ministry, incorporated with teaching and preaching the Word of God. I have a great desire to see the nations come to Christ, and the harvest of the last days gathered in. I love to help build churches and ministries. I have a passion to see the apostolic and the prophetic ministries fully restored to the church at large, and for the whole body of Christ to recognize and receive the apostles and the prophets of God.

I have a heart for pastors, leaders, and their churches. I love to help, encourage, fellowship, and counsel with pastors and leaders. I have a great desire to meet with and to minister to heads of state. I have been so honored to be with men of authority in the nations.

I have a passion to see the lost saved, the sick healed, and the tormented set free in Jesus' name! I prophesy, preach, and teach with a strong emphasis on “Living the Victorious Christian Life.” I have a great desire to see people prophetically activated into their divine purpose, and to help them fulfill the destiny that they have in God!

My apostolic/prophetic~ psalmist/minstrel ministry includes playing the guitar, writing songs, singing, leading worship, and prophesying while playing the guitar. My wife Sarah accompanies me in the ministry. We work together as a “team” to minister the Word of the Lord, and to bring freedom to the captives! (Isa. 61)

The Lord gave me a mandate many years ago to “Get My people healed!” He has instilled in me a great compassion and desire for sick, diseased, and suffering people to be made whole. The Lord has used me in numerous miracles, signs and wonders, including seeing the dead raised to life! Martinique Apostolic Miracle Service, March 2020 – This dear lady was in this wheelchair 1 or 2 years and she WALKED out of the building! Hallelujah!!
